Do linen hats for men shout fun in the sun to you too? How much sunnier can you get than with a boldly striped Borsalino newsboy or a patchwork ivy cap, or maybe a Woolrich baseball cap in pre-washed cotton twill or an Indiana Jones ballcap (with autographed brown oil cloth trim)? I suppose it could be argued that Christys' very sharp Italian Linen ivy cap bodes well for looking haute when it's hot, of course; and there's simply no arguing with either The Captain, a cotton fisherman cap, or the cap-tivating Yachtsman from DPC Global Trends. And even though it's not technically a cap, another spring/summer prerequisite must be Scala's Bucket Hat (for purposes of fishing and other outings of a watery nature). If you wish to impress when it's wet, I think you'll find either Stetson rainhat (The Gable or The Andes) quite satisfactory for the job, although I know one guy who simply swears by The Drizzler Ivy Cap (and he's got it in all three water repellent colors).
