attention here besides Biltmore's Montecristi Pinch Front, including The Snap Brim, an elegant Christys' London Panama fedora, made in the USA, with a two inch snap brim, grosgrain trim and sweatband. Kangol brings a Panama hat this season, called The Buckle Arnold. It's a snap brim fedora with a contrast colored brim and vibrant red trim with brass buckle. There's also The Cubano, a Scala "C" crown fedora in Panama straw with a generous brim and grosgrain fabric band with bow.

Vented men's hats always make good warm weather choices. We've got just such a hat from Biltmore, called The Abby Road, a fabulous shantung straw fedora with open weave venting, snap brim, leather sweatband and grosgrain trim with tonal overlay. The Liberation is a new vented toyo fedora from the Carlos by Carlos Santana collection. It features a pinch front, tie print trim with guitar pin and stingy bound edge brim. Another Santana hat with a vented open weave is a Panama fedora called The Shifter. The woven brim is in a contrast color and the trim has an Indian print overlay. You'll catch the breeze in style with this hat.

If it's cool you want, take a look at The Sinamay/Hemp Fedora from Stacy Adams. This is an incredibly lightweight summer hat in a blend of sinamay straw and hemp. The pinch front fedora with two-inch brim is trimmed with a fancy textured ribbon, Stacy pin and feather. Another sinamay straw hat is offered by Carlos Santana. Called The Sleek, it's part of the Carlos by Carlos Santana collection and it too is a truly cool hat. The brim is bound and stingy at 1 1/2 inches, and the ribbon trim features a Santana guitar pin.

It's got a very stingy brim and handsome windowpane pattern and (until it's sold out) is being offered in your choice of Charcoal or Natural. Goorin has a new stroller fedora on tap too. In a blend of cotton and polyester, The Josh Kerr Stroller is a stingy brim hat with a narrow brim, contrast band and button. The Jackman is a good hat to have when you're traveling. From the Bailey Hats Poet Travel Collection, it's a packable and very lightweight wool fedora with a casual 2 1/2 inch brim and narrow leather trim.

No list of fedoras is complete without at least a cursory mention of hats from Dobbs. New this season is a Dobbs hat called The DeSoto. I really like the fancy band on this handsome venetian milan braid hat. It's a pinch front fedora with a 2 1/4 inch wide brim and it carries the Dobbs pin, a mark of distinction.
