Kangol does smart and sporty too, with their fully ventilated Diamond and with (of course) only the best-selling ivy cap on earth -- The Kangol Vent Air 504 Space Ivy Cap. They've come up with something very interesting this season, called The Canerweave Mau Cap. It's a flat-top cap with an intricate, knitted pattern and the shape of the whole thing is in the Mau style. If you want stand-out traditional, though, they've got their Tropic Ivy, a perfect plaid cap in two great shades: loden (dark green and light green with light chocolate accent) and oyster (light greys and tans with purple accent).

There's more you know. I haven't touched on The Scala Roth ballcap or their ivy caps, The Bryan and The Felix, both ivys priced so that you too can be recklessly profligate. I sadly never even glanced at The Chad (a truly Ivy League dress cap from Scala in cotton twill), nor did I extol the virtues of The Cambridge, a Stetson rain cap. I'm afraid you're on your own when it comes to the 1333 Minna ballcaps, The All Together and The Archer. Same thing with the far-too-affordable Poplin Baseball Cap from DPC and their Yachting Ball Cap (which I've been wearing a lot at my local marina, where I pose in front of the yachts before I take my old tub out for a row).

Well, now I think that about caps it!
