Comments: Being 50, I was concerned about the prospect of buying a pork pie hat. They are so thoroughly entrenched in the youth pop culture fad universe. Was I too old to get this hat? I loved the picture and the description, so I went for it. To me, the Hornblower doesn't have anything to do with everchanging fads and trends. It represents something timeless: jazz. I bought the hat, and I love it. I wear it to gigs and try (and fail) to play like the masters who (in my mind) wore this hat during jazz's golden age. I'll keep trying to live up to the artistic zenith that was that era, and I'll wear my Bailey Hornblower while I do so.

Comments: This hat exceeded my expectations right when I took it out of the box. It is definitely unique, I have not seen a pork pie around that has this type of 2 tone long hair felt. The 2 tone band looks much better in person that in the picture and really complements the hat. Fit is good and the silk lining is comfy. Put it on and it's a looker. A sure compliment catcher of a hat. By the way super packaging job for shipping from menshats.com - This was my first order and will definitely be a repeat customer!
